Les Miserables on Ice (1992)

In May 1992, the Royal Glenora Club put on an "ice production" of the Broadway hit "Les Miserables". Kurt played the role of Jean Val Jean and skated one of his signature pieces, "Bring Him Home". The female skater pictured below with Kurt is Canadian skater, Jamie Sale'. In the final bows photo, you can see Michael Slipchuk beside Kurt. "Slipper" played the role of the prison guard who hassled Jean Val Jean over the course of many years. The interaction between Kurt and Slipper is absolutely wonderful. Other notable skaters in this production included Lisa Sargeant, Kristi Sargeant, Jason Turner, Ravi Walia, Ben Ferriera and Anisette Torp-Lind (Danish Champion) ... all of whom skated at the Royal Glenora Club in 1992.
