Video Downloads
The Kurt Files will be posting five videos of Kurt's programs a
month for old fans and new fans alike to download. Add to your
collection, or if you're new to Kurt, check out who this guy is. The
videos are chosen to try to showcase Kurt's versatility and range.
Videos will be posted in rotation to save on bandwidth usage - ie,
when the new five go up, the old five will be taken down - so make
sure you check back each month to get them all.
For all videos, please right click and save to your computer, don't
play directly off my site. Please keep in mind that these are quite
large files. Files should be playable with Windows
Media Player. If you have problems, try updating your player.
Videos for the month
In honor of Kurt's induction into the World Figure Skating Hall of
Fame at the World Championships this month, the Kurt Files takes a
retrospective look over Kurt's entire televised career. From his 1985
Junior Canadians LP to his 1995 Peace Frog performance, we've got one
program from every year, with the exception of 1995 and 1996, when we
have two, and 1986, for which we have no videos. All ten programs
that earned the top number of votes from Kurt fans are here (starred,
for your viewing pleasure), as well as more than a few of the others
that earned votes. The programs here run the gamut from the funny to
the intense, from the sexy to the emotional, and I hope you enjoy
them. Special thanks to Brit for her help in assembling and choosing
this collection.
Given the sheer number of programs and the fact that I got them up
late, I'll be keeping these programs up for both the months of March
and April. However, bandwidth usage is a bit of a concern so if
you've downloaded any of these programs before, please don't download
them again. If bandwidth usage gets too much, I will have to take the
programs down for the rest of the month, but they *will* be back up in
April, so don't worry about missing any. If you have trouble with any
of these links, please contact me. PLEASE do not
play any of these videos directly off of my site - save them to your
own computer.

klf (23.1MB, wmv file)
Music: "Canadian Man" and "Team Canada" by Paul Brandt, "I Am
Canadian" (Molson beer commercial song)
A very cute video created in honor of Canada Day (7/1). The title is
pretty self-descriptive =).

Music: "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me" by Elton John
A wonderful, lengthy tribute to Kurt's entire career from childhood photos through pre-Senior performances all the way up until almost the present day. Walk down memory lane, or see video clips you never have before. Relive Kurt's triumphs and disappointments over the course of his amazing career, to the tune of some rather familiar-to-Kurt fans songs. The video is broken up because of size and length.

Music: "You and Me" by Lifehouse, "Born to be Wild" by Steppenwolf
A very cute tribute to the friendship between Scott Hamilton and Kurt Browning through off-ice and on-ice skating footage. Warning, this is a very large file.
Tribute to a Champion by Brittany (79MB, wmv file)

Another self-descriptive title. A more or less chronological tribute to Kurt, utilizing on-ice footage starting briefly in his eligible career but mostly focusing on his professional career.
Simply the Best by Brittany (64.0MB, wmv file)

A lovely tribute to Kurt's skating, including clips of his doing footwork in hockey skates for Stars on Ice, his quad in Antares in Canadian Stars on Ice, his triple axel/2-toe combination at Ice Wars, and other artistic and technical highlights from his career.
