Edwin and the Pressure are a Canadian band who performed live at
Kurt's Gotta Skate show in 2002. This song, Alive, was used as the
finale of the show. Here's a quote from Kurt in the 10/29/02 Canadian
Press about it: "It's about celebrating how lucky we are," he
says. "That's the finale - It's So Good To Be Alive." Kurt also used
the song for one of his programs at Ice Wars that year. Kurt has also
said that this song meant a lot to him after his mother passed away.
